Classic blues singing...., February 12, 2000

Trixie Smith had a clear and dicty voice, you can understand each word she says clealy. This CD is a great overview on Miss Smith. Highlights include "He Has To Beat Me To Keep Me" and a dixieland version of "Everybody Loves My Baby." Not strictly a blues singer but a fine swing and dixieland singer too. Excellent CD.
