5.0 out of 5 stars Great read October 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
My only complaint is that it was not long enough. It was just enough to get you into the charaters lives and leaves you wanting more. I can not wait for the rest of the books to come out. Great job.

5.0 out of 5 stars amusing, heart warming and paranormal too December 6, 2013

This a really good short story. A new spin on a familiar subject trolls. (At least for those of us who were allowed Halloween stories in school.). Lynlee is a character with her charges will have you laughing at the antics she has to explain away. Glad to see this will have a continuation.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful start to new series December 10, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
There are authors who really shouldn’t write short stories, because they can’t develop the story or their characters enough on those few pages. And then there are those who can take a few pages and turn it into a beautiful story that leaves you with a craving for more.

Olivia Hardin is one of those precious ones, who can transform a few pages into Wonderland. I fell for Lynlee and her struggle to not either strangle or kiss Beck. She tries so hard to wrap herself into that tight shell, to control her magic and her feelings that she is almost forgetting how to live. Imagine how she feels when Beck comes strolling into her life (again), threatening to remove the little self-control she has left.

It comes out early that Lynlee and Beck have a history and that it ended badly, but we only get snippets of why. I’m kinda curious about the why and how. Maybe we’ll find out later?

Anyway, I really liked Trolling for Trouble, and Lynlee is very likable. I like that she thinks fast, reacts the same way, and doesn’t back down for anything. There was a particular part involving a troll and some serious cleaning that made me laugh out loud :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Little Paranormal Romance January 28, 2015
Format:Kindle Edition
Lynlee policies the magical and undead creatures, those that have dropped the ball and have been seen by humans, it’s her job to clean up the mess. It has been one busy Halloween and all Lynlee wants to do is go to sleep. But she discovers two children in her house followed by an ex true love that is completely against the while witch thing.

What is Lynlee to do? Kick them out? Help the man that broke her heart? But what about these cute little kids that tug at her heart? She finally agrees to help and goes on the hunt for a troll that has been harassing Beck’s family.

This is a great novella. I read it in my spare time at work. Well, I got sucked into the story and work really became spare time. I really like Lynlee and loved the different ways she came up to help cover for the magical and undead.

This is a great, quick read that will leave you wanting more. Make sure to check out Tangled Up In Trouble, book two.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this short and cannot wait for the next book in the series. This was the ultimate teaser - mystery, fantasy, and romance. I love reading anything from Olivia Hardin and this series is going to be awesome! I also really like how she includes a little extra information at the end of her books about her inspiration.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing story! June 10, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Trolling for Trouble is a novelette that is the perfect length for a quick lunch time read. I love the characters and the imagery the author uses made their situation really come to life even in a novelette. Beck’s children are absolutely adorable and I can totally understand why Lynlee felt she has to help them. If you’re looking for a quick read that will make you smile, Trolling for Trouble by Olivia Hardin is definitely it.

5.0 out of 5 stars great short read..... March 11, 2014

This is a paranormal two book series, but could be read as a stand alone. Anyone who has an hour or two and loves a very detailed supernatural story this is the book for you. I really enjoyed the relationship between the children. I also appreciated how each character is acknowledged but the books' main character is Lynlee. The plot was always entertaining.

This book is about Lynlee Lincoln a witch, whom is a neutralizer. Her job is to cover up the mishaps the maucs (Magical and undead creatures) sometimes get themselves into. She has very creative ways to handle each situation. She had a very busy Halloween night and is exhausted. She is pulled from bed only to discover two children in her kitchen. She is drawn to them... then their father Beck appears, the man whom is her true love and left her years before. She is caught between not wanting to get involved with him again or helping his children.

favorite passages:

"Her eyes were as green as the grass in a spring field"
"She laid her head down on his shoulder and stuck two fingers in her mouth as she examined me."
“I told her I’d sleep in there too, but she said I can just hold her hand.”
"Very charming and almost like something from a fairy tale"
"I leaned in but my witch’s hat got in the way so I tossed my head back sharply to knock it loose"

More About the Author

When Olivia Hardin started having movie-like dreams in her teens, she had no choice but to begin putting them to paper. Before long, the writing bug had bitten her, and she knew she wanted to be a published author. Several rejections plus a little bit of life later, she was temporarily "cured" of the urge to write. That is, until she met a group of talented and fabulous writers who gave her the direction and encouragement she needed to get lost in the words again.

Olivia has attended three different universities over the years and toyed with majors in Computer Technology, English, History and Geology. Then one day she heard the term "road scholar,"' and she knew that was what she wanted to be. Now she "studies" anything and everything just for the joy of learning. She's also an insatiable crafter who only completes about 1 out of 5 projects, a jogger who hates to run, and she's sometimes accused of being artistic.

A native Texas girl, Olivia lives in the beautiful Lone Star state with her husband, Danny and their puppy, Bonnie.
