5.0 out of 5 stars The "Cool" coloring book...
I have to say, of all the coloring books I purchased for a 2-3 year old this was the one most loved by the adults. The child was happy with all of them, Disney, animals, butterflies, and this in an equal manner... but the grown ups thought this was wonderful. If you have a child who likes fantasy themes, or a teenager who happens to enjoy coloring, or even if you just...

I should've looked at the pictures posted that show what's inside the book before purchasing it. I bought it for therapudic reasons. I needed inspirational/pleasant pics to color and got ugly trolls instead. That was my mistake, granted. But Idk, some of those pics are perverse. I'm 18, but it's a children's coloring book... shouldn't it be cleaner? Maybe a little more...

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful coloring book, March 22, 2007

I have given this coloring book to my girls two years in a row. This is an excellent alternative to Disney characters and other more commonly found coloring pages. The creatures in this book are beautiful and contain enough detail to challenge and inspire creativity in an older child, while the quality of the paper can stand the abuse of a toddler. Highly recommend.

I love this coloring book, it has a small paragraph for each picture telling about the faeries. I use acrylic paints and it's great

These are beautiful coloring books because they are so different then the ones that are out there. Beautiful intricate pictures that not only children will love but adults as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coloring books are relaxing, August 14, 2010

I never would've guessed my friend and neighbor, who drives a bulldozer for a living, would be the type to sit down with a coloring book but his colorings are beautiful and not juvenile at all. And he says, which also never occurred to me, that coloring is very relaxing. I never saw it that way as a kid but looking back, I guess coloring was actually relaxing. I'm very impressed with his, what I'm gonna call, artwork. He's somewhat picky about what he wants to color. The more detail in a pic to color, the better. And he's been very satisfied with the books I picked out for his birthday. He loves that the art of each of the pics to color is so detailed. He has bragged about my choices and so has anyone else who he's bragged to that I picked them out. I've never seen such beauty in a coloring book myself. I bought four of them and they all deserve the same praise so I guess I'll just copy and paste this review on each of the products.

Our daughter loves fairies and she loves to color the illustrations in this book.

We cut out the pages and scanned them into our computer so we can print them over and over again for non stop coloring fun.

I haven't gone coloring book shopping... ever, so maybe I'm missing it, but... besides that though, i enjoyed the captions beneath the pictures that describe the creatures.
