While this recording does not have the best quality of sound on it, it has some incredible improvisation by JJ Johnson, Kai Winding, and Benny Green. It is an excellent cd, with some incredible tunes on it (my favorite being Night on Bop Mountain). While the recording sounds old fashioned in quality, that only adds to the feeling of jazz one gets while listening.

A Night On Bop Mountain, March 11, 2011

'A Night On Bop Mountain' (both versions) may well be the most addictive, exciting and downright funky tune I've ever heard. It should be prescribed by doctors to unhappy people as a 100% guaranteed cure.
