She knows I love wings but hate getting my hands all messy.
Mikey V
They're simple, elegant in function, and fill a need; at the same time they're fun to use, and seem to come in handy all the time.
J Skye
They work almost like little claws, and the tips of your fingers stay mess-free.

I've been nursing a lifelong secret; and since we are all friends here I think it's high time I let you know about it. Promise you won't tell anyone.

I loves me some chicken wings. Yessir I do. I love chicken wings like Romeo loved Juliet. I love them the same way that Republicans love guns. I love chicken wings like John loved Yoko. What I am trying to say is that my affair with chicken wings is responsible for breaking up the Beatles and has been the subject of a Micheal Moore documentary. That is what I am trying to say.

BUT... I also despise having gooey fingers. I hate that as much as... well... man... I ran out of analogies. Hey, listen- I HATE having messy fingers. And when you're in a bar, munching on a basket of wings, nothing can be more "Icky-poo" than having to answer your cell phone or grab a glass of beer when you have wing sauce all over your digits.

Yeah, I said "icky-poo". Wanna do something about it? I will punch you.

But if I DID punch you, I wouldn't do it with drippy, red-sauced fingers. Because a few months ago I bought an 8-pack of Trongs. And WOWZERS, they are USEFUL!

Know those goofy plastic vampire teeth you used to mess with when you were a kid? You use the Trongs pretty much the same way you'd use those teeth, only on your fingers. They work almost like little claws, and the tips of your fingers stay mess-free.

The ads and packaging insists that it takes a few minutes to get used to them. It only took me a few seconds. Sure, it's a wee bit odd to have a bunch of plastic on your hand when you're trying to tear into a dozen of your favorite artery-bombs... but here's a list of things you DON'T end up with:

-Sauce all over your phone, beer, keys, pitcher, Trivia keypad, waitress' backside.

What is there not to love? They're simple, elegant in function, and fill a need; at the same time they're fun to use, and seem to come in handy all the time.

The plastic is surprisingly sturdy and fits comfortably on your fingers; using them is as natural as using any other well designed utensil, it takes about a second to get used to and then you never need to think about them.

It's kind of a no brainer, if you eat messy finger food even once a year, or prepare dishes that need manual manipulation: keeping a package of these in your home just makes sense. I hope these things catch on, because i'd love to see them in restaurants, served alongside a plate of wings.

I saw these on a show about dumb/crazy inventions. I had to have them. A little pricey, but very fun and actually useful if you don't like getting your fingers dirty.

Don't Think Just Buy! I think they're Awesome! You just find uses for them. They're fun to use and easy to clean. They had a booth at the Buffalo Wing Festival and the guys selling them were really nice people and a lot of fun. I think its a great product and its definitely worth it to own a pair or buy a few. Its a conversation starter during wing night at the bar and BBQ's during the summer. You WILL get your money's worth and use them. I saw them on the Invention show on the History Channel and I wanted to buy more for stocking stuffers but i don't see them here yet so i'll settle for giving a realistic user review. I highly recommend them
