great book for people interested in dinosaurs, February 1, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Troodon, the Smartest Dinosaur (Special Dinosaurs) (Library Binding)
Troodon was my favorite dinosaur after I read this book. It's really an amazing speices, resembleing a veliciraptor but signifigantly more intelligent. Some people think that if troodon had not died out with all the other dinosaurs, it would evolve into a senient human-like creature. Also this book is written by don lessem, a reliable expert in dinosaurs and a great writer. He has many other accurate dinosaur books, while most of the dinosaur books they sell are full of mistakes.
This book contains information on how troodon lived, what it looked like, how they discovered it, and why it's such an amazing dinosaur. Again, if you're interested in dinosaurs this is a good book to read.

It's too short!, February 25, 2007
This review is from: Troodon, the Smartest Dinosaur (Special Dinosaurs) (Library Binding)
With it's sturdy cover, large type and fine illustrations this book is excellently suited for the little paleontologists among us. Technical terminology is kept to a minimum (and this duly explained). If the author had followed the current opinion of many, that most probably all members of this group of dino's were warmblooded and feathered, the plates could have been even more stunning.
Nevertheless, a fine little book, with only one major fault: it's way too short!
