Red Lights and Siren,

I highly recommend this book to anyone from any career background and any age from upper elementary through senior citizen. Neither I nor any family member or close friend is in law enforcement, so the stories gave me insight about the daily challenges that face an officer. The stories cover a range of topics about law enforcement situations and also about the author's family life. The writer's sense of humor comes across well. The stories evoke a variety of responses - laughter, tears, incredulity about the dispostion of some cases, etc. Each selection is short enough you can read it in just a few minutes if that's all the time you have. This would make a great Father's Day gift!

Great new book!,

I read only non-fiction books and this is a fine new writer. I enjoyed every one of the 30 stories. Each one gave me something to think about. Danny Moon is honest and humble in telling about his experiences. He relates them to his faith in a "regular guy" kind of way that is straightforward and not at all "preachy." I just heard of a chief of police who is making this required reading for young people who have to perform community service. It makes you feel safer knowing a person of Moon's calibre is out there protecting us. You won't be disappointed in this book!
