I bought an AppleCreek Dulcimer and was so pleased with the craftsmanship of the instrument that I thought, I might as well trust in buying one of their carrying cases. I am very glad I did. The construction is very good. It fits a Dulcimer perfectly with a pocket for bow resin, slide, picks and such. There is plenty of room inside for a booklet, sheet music and a bow. My only criticism would be that it isn't padded enough to offer substantial protection to the instrument. It would protect against the elements, scratches and insignificant bumps, but it would not deflect a blow. For the price and peace of mind, I think it is a good purchase.

For years I have carried my dulcimer with nothing to protect it. Occasionally I would remember to put an old towel around it. Now that I bought the Applecreek Dulcimer bag, I feel like I have done my bit to honor my dulcimer and protect it. It's a great bag at a great price.
