OUTSTANDING. The "Weddos" are probably unknown to most USA music fans, and thats too bad. This band is (or was..they broke up)one of the best around. The style is a meld of folk, rock, alternative, and the subject matter (about regular folks and everyday life, having a good time, some historical stuff) is somewhat like Springsteens or US bluegrass/country acts, although some of the Australina references would be obscure (like A Tale They Wouldnt Beleive, which about a sort of Australian Donner Party). Actually I think they are better than Springsteen. The quicker tunes are is rousing with great sing-along choruses, while the slower songs are poignant..including one about a divorced father visitng his son called Fathers Day. Every track is a winner on this CD.

My only dissapointment is that it wasn't a double CD as a few of my favourites were missing. Make sure that you get the special edition with the 'Benched' bonus CD.
