I was very disappointed when I recieved the umbrella and found that the lights were orange or amber. The umbrella is very nice;however, the other lights on my deck and in my yard are white. It sticks out like a sore thumb. If you have no other ligthing near it, it will probably be OK since it is of good quality for the price.

Actually I like the amber light then white light
which give me a cozy atmosphere in my patio.

Arrived on time and no damage. Unfortunately no lights? Trying to get refund of difference from non lighted one. The site is difficult to use.

This was a complete RIP OFF. The description said lighted, and mine HAS NO LIGHTS. I am so pissed off and I had planned a house party this weekend. MY PLANS ARE RUINED!

I like this umbrella. We have had very inexpensive umbrellas that fell apart quickly and we have had very expensive umbrellas that fell apart less quickly, but quickly enough to make finding a good umbrella seem out of reach. So far, this one is great. It's attractive and the fact that the pole isn't wood doesn't bother me because that's one of the weak links of the umbrellas we've had before. Also, I really like the mechanism for opening and closing it and we all get a huge kick out of the lights, which are amber and as someone else mentioned not strong enough to read by. Just strong enough to look kind of cool on a clear night, although we will never, ever have a need to use the disco blinking light option. Someone with a very different life, however, might actually find them perfect. I'm pretty sure it also has a temperature guage on the pole, but I'm not positive, because I haven't looked at it that closely. Still, that's an unlooked for bonus. (And if isn't a temperature guage, well, it might be something else that seems like a bonus. I'd better go look that up.) In any event, my husband put it together and didn't complain, so I think it's not that hard to assemble. Also, the navy blue is a nice color and is dark enough that it looks fine next to greenery and a wooden table, which is what it stands next to on our back porch. If I remember, I'll update this review after we've had this umbrella for longer than a week!
