Doody's Rating: * * *
This is a valuable addition to any dermatologist's library. It is short and concise enough to be read cover to cover, and yet authoritative enough to be used as a reference as well. Just be careful where you leave the book -- some of the photos may be quite graphic for the uninitiated!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tropical Dermatology, 1e (Hardcover)
Excellent book, with great pictures. I first saw this book in the library of the Witz Medical School in Johannesburg 6 weeks ago, and I knew I had to have it. I am helping to teach conferences on tropical medicine for medical professionals who want to volunteer for short-term or long-term service in under-developed countries. The textbook has incredible photos illustrating the fact that "a picture is worth a thousand words." For any physician interested in tropical medicine this book is a must.
