I love this coconut oil! I have TT's virgin coconut oil. I cook with it and the taste is not overwhelming at all. Great for greasing pans, baking, coffee, tea and skin moisturizing!

This oil is the fruit of the gods. You can do just about anything with it. You can cook with it, you can even use it on your face. My girlfriend has done this for the last few years, and her face couldn't be softer. This oil is tastey too, one heaping spoonful makes a good snack. I substituted coconut oil for the vegtable once, and I've never stoped. Do yourself a favor make the switch you won't regret it. One more thing, you can give it to cats for hairballs; they love the taste, plus it makes their coats shine. Awsome, awsome stuff!!!!

This tub is a fantastic value. I have substituted nearly all the fats and oils in my cooking with coconut oil. I was worried this size might be too large, but coconut oil has a really long shelf life, so don't worry about it going rancid. I can't recommend coconut oil highly enough. It does wonders for your skin, aids your digestion, helps maintain balanced metabolism and blood sugar, is heart-healthy, and is also delicious. My one complaint is the lid. The product is great, but this size comes in an industrial type bucket. The seal is hard to break without a special tool, and it doesn't reseal well. I'd like to see this company offer a resealable lid with bulk oil for home use.

For a long time coconut oil has been given a bad rap. It has been classed with the harmful saturated oils mainly because it solidifies when cold. However I have heard medical people praise it for its healthful properties. I first got interested in it because it is recommended for low thyroid activity. Besides its health benefits, which are many, it is a great cooking oil, it takes high temperatures well and has a delicate flavor which I no longer taste, unfortunately, because I am so used to it. Add to this that It is wonderful for the skin and It doesn't spoil easily.
TT is a good brand. I have used it for years and it is consistently pure.
