I've been searching and searching for black patent leather loafers that feel good. While I'm petite, I'm a very heavy walker and I have a hard time finding shoes that feel good and look good. I also seem to have a wider toe box, but narrow heal. I wanted to love the Anne Klein Flex loafers, but they were just a bit too snug in the toe box and slipped in the heal. I've ordered so many shoes trying to find some that fit and here they are! My prior loafers were a $200 pair of Donald Pliner loafers that I would buy again in a heartbeat if they still made them, since they don't this was the next best thing. The soles are kind of plastic like, but I don't mind them at all and they aren't slippery. The shoes are very comfortable and decent looking (I'm not in love with them like the Pliner's, but I don't dislike them either). I thought they might feel stiff, judging by the looks, but they never have. I've been wearing them for 2 weeks now.

This shoe had that "broken in" feel from the moment I put it on. Perfect for work, feminine look for a slip on, which is important especially for those of us with larger sized feet! My only complaint is that the inside seam was slightly seperated, I couldn't change it b/c there were no mre left in my size. I thought about returning it, but the defect can't be seen, I paid a great price and the shoe is so nice looking and comfortable, I'm glad I kept it!
