The reason for the five star rating is the absolutely beautiful Mauve Classic Club mix for Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love". It is like a lost David Morales or Masters at Work mix with a lovely guitar solo in the middle. I am not sure if the vocals have been done over for this mix but they seem more gospel--aka black- than the original. This mix (8:27) is the main reason to buy. Kelly shines on it. The second remix is the Bimbo Jones Dub Mix(6:38)and is okay but nothing special. Stick with the Mauve mix. Hopefully RCA will release "Anytime" and mix it like "Unbreak My Heart " was mixed so well for Toni Braxton. Kelly Clarkson is incredible.

I hated this song at first, but I think it grow on me, after a bit, so the trick with this song, is to really listen lto the lyrics, cos the message it's great, I don't know about the mixes they tend to ruin great ballads, only a few mixed ballad are saved and have become great anthems like Un-break My Heart by Miss Braxton, but I guess The Trouble with the mixes are that they sound like cheap dance music, ok. But The song is great the original that is...

Being really impressed by the work Shanghai Surprise and Mauve did with their remixes of "Miss Independent", I was happy to learn that Kelly would get remixes of her new single "The Trouble With Love Is" too. I checked out the original and was surprised to hear a very gospel like song and didn't really know how it could be converted into a dance tune. But then Mauve came along once again and made a stunning remix that stays very close to the original, yet keeps a steady and housey beat. An awesome remix, although the chorus lines are slightly offbeat sometimes. Another remix that is only released on 12" vinyl is the Bermudez & Bertoldo Delinquent Cupid Mix which is total class as well, extremely catchy! This is the remix she's performing on her 2004 Independent Tour with Clay Aiken. The Bimbo Jones Mix however is the most tragic thing I've ever heard from them, they didn't really give me anything with this remix. Too boring and monotone, just a lot of beats and Kelly's vocals being cut up and totally destroyed, just simply awful. And why on earth put on a dub on the single? It sure ain't better than the vocal mix, they're both horrible. 4 stars from me, it would've gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the utter pointless noise that is the Bimbo Jones Dub. Ignore their attempt at a remix and groove along to the awesome Mave Classic Mix!

I'm currently writing a romance comedy script, and i think that this is Kelly Clarkson's strongest and most meaningful song ever.

THe beats in the background were monotonous. What she needed was an extended mix with a Gospel twinge. I know I heard a great version on the radio. This was not it.

I love this song KELLY SHINES! It is agreat song that when all the way to top 25 back in December!Just great!

We don't have to talk about the voice of Kelly, she's got a great gift.

But that song is a little bit of everything: A little bit of Christina Aguilera, a little bit of Britney, a little bit of Whitney Houston (a long, long time ago), a mixture of Mariah and Celine.

I don't understand that. Why is she wasting her talent on a song, which is, depending because of so much roots, so boring.

I hope she will find back to what she is: A great performer!
