I was expecting an engaging story, and it was. What I wasn't expecting was all the typos. I counted 22 but there may have been more. After so many, I tended to skip over sentences when my brain stumbled over my eyes. He when context demanded she, be when it should be he, "went" used 3 times in one sentence Who can keep their mind on the action tripping over all these distractions? "Admiration rose it him", "It came in handy be said", "he damp skin instead of her . . .", "now went just a minute, Pop said", "money so she could went for them to come back", "know that be was paying for the cook". Bes, hes and shes were frequent. More than once wait was went. OK, so I'm not paying big bucks for this on Kindle, but shouldn't there still be an editor to insure marginal quality? When the copy is so bad, I couldn't even rate a good story more than 2 stars - this one got 5???

This book was very romantic in a great outdoor setting. Quincy has been through the horrors of war and only Abby can help him get back to his roots on the ranch. You will want to move to this breathtaking ranch. This book was a fast read and I couldn't put it down. Spent 4th of July weekend reading it and Welcome to Paradise - great fun!

Who knew paradise could be on a cattle ranch in Kansas? The hero and heroine are at odds over how to run the ranch: traditionally or as a guest ranch teaching the guests about "cow psychology". A fun read.

This is the third book I have read from this author and I can definitely say that the editing issues are getting better. There are still typos and misspelled words, but there are way fewer than in some of her other books. I keep coming back to this author because I love her stories and the plots are entertaining. It provides the entertainment needed for a low price tag! Anyways, getting back to the story.... this is the story of Quincy and Abby. Quincy was a man who lived and loved the life of a rancher. When he was called for the reserves to go to war, his wife decided to divorce him and sell his family ranch that he so much loved. Quincy was on a mission, he wanted to buy his ranch back. Abby bought the ranch and she loved everything about it: the land, the animals, but she wanted to provide people with an opportunity to experience being in a ranch, like her own childhood. Quincy is completely disappointed with the direction his old ranch was taking and wanted to make sure Abby failed so she would eventually sell it back to him. He manages to get a job at the ranch, for free to "help" her or sabotage her.

Abby had become an independent woman ever since her marriage failed. She was determined to make it on her own with no one's help, but when this gorgeous cowboy offers to help for free, she is skeptical. However, circumstances force her to hire him and many things happen. This is a "don't judge a book by its cover" type of story. Very romantic and cute. There isn't any steamy scenes, yet the story worked really well and felt very romantic. Despite the editing issues, it was an enjoyable book!

In Kansas??? Wow! When a rancher comes back from serving in the Middle East, he goes to the only place he can think of, his ranch. While he was serving, his wife divorced him, AND SOLD HIS RANCH!!! He got the divorce announcement in the middle of the Middle Eastern desert and the beating sun! It showed that not only his wife was calling it quits, but she also sold HIS ranch and gave him half of the money that she got from the selling of the ranch! When the rancher arrives at his ranch, he thought everything would be normal, but it was everything but normal! Not in a chaotic way, but a sort of a LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT way! He laid his eyes on the new owner of the ranch, and he knew that he had to have her! Read on to find out what happens next in this once again supremely great book in the "Paradise" series by Carol Grace!

Anything I read has to be believable. Economically feasible Kansas ranch? I doubt it but, . . . 'children sitting' on new born calves. . . . I certainly hope not. And, it continued. Read half the book and quit.

I took Trouble in Paradise with me to read at the pier while on vacation in Wisconsin. It was totally enjoyable, humerous and just the thing for a summer read. Carol Grace is a great writer of romance novels and I look forward to each one I get. Maybe my next vacation will be on a ranch!
