Book Description

July 2004
'Trouble De Ville' is the debut novel from Steven Denton. It is a wildly quirky crime novel about an independent bookstore owner and her employes who are all in trouble.

Trouble comes from a lawyer in love with the wrong woman, a bitter ex wife, the strippers, oops, exotic dancers known as 'The Slice Girls,' an itinerant minister on a mission, and a 'divine' can of Hawaiian Punch. This book is funny, shocking, and darn good fun for those who like crime novels.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Fun characters. Nice short readable chapters. Sexy. Dorky. Creepy. All the things the contemporary reader craves. This ain't literature, but it sure tastes good.
