This is a most excellent series, full of action and compassion. Dog epitomizes the American dream of pulling himself out of the mire and having a life with meaning. He' s doing something worthwhile for his family and the communities he serves. So of course, he is a controversial figure.

This series is OK if you are interested in 21 minutes of Dog hunting, capturing and converting criminals, drug addicts etc. Beth is a wonderful loud mouth, fish manger wife who knows better than to let her cheating husband out of her sight. It's an acquired taste.

yes, I would recommend this show to all. It delves into the physocology of man. How we treat each other under different circumstances. Sometimes I wonder "are these people real" but of course they are. Dog because he loves all his children and takes them into the family business and Beth she rocks. It takes a special woman to do what she does. The show also shows the seedy side of life and the real horrows of drug use. God bless the Chapman family and watch over you and keep you safe
