Dan Payne says:
I just ordered this set, but now am reading some reviews from people saying that multiple discs in the set will not play. One in particular said that they have a Sony player, and that Sony will not be offering the upgrade that allows you to play them. Does anyone know if this is true?

I just receive mine box set, and I have tried several disc, DR NO, THE SPY WHO LOVED, FOR YOURS EYES ONLY, GOLDENEYE and CASINO ROYALE. All of them play fine and sound great. For the others discs I have not yet played, but I dont see a problem at all. My BD player is a Sony bdp-s380 and have no problem with it. So far, so good.

To Dan Payne:
If you get the set and any of the discs fail to play, then your Blu-Ray player needs a firmware update. Check your owners manual for the player to see how to update it. It usually involves connecting your player to the internet, either by a cable or by wireless (depending on your player) and following the instructions in your owners manual for updating the firmware. This usually needs to be done a couple times a year anyway, as new copy protection schemes for the movies hit the market.

my problem comes if you stop the discs for any reason, it starts over at the beginning.

That has nothing to do with the disks, it the setting of your Blu-ray player. Check your manual.
