Excellent book, writen from rank and filers view with a million years of experence between covers. Has many specifics on Union operation and how to handle the company. This book really gives you perspective on Worker's Rights. A must have book for Stewards and Activists.

In a perfect world there would be no need for this type of book. I still believe in giving an honest days work to my employer. It is no wonder employers do not like unions when they have to tolerate non productive people on the payroll. It makes life difficult for the rest of us also. On the other hand it is hard to work for someone who runs a business based on his "personal" opinion of workers and not the quality of the work they perform. When someone works for me I only care about results, even if they grate on me. I suppose it has it's place somewhere.
