I have to admit, I was disappointed. This is not a bad book at all but it really is not what I thought it might be, a book on fishing technique. From the description, the author is most certainly qualified to write a technique and tactics book on fishing, this is more about his personal pursuit of trout fishing over his lifetime. Its well written and does have some tidbits but if you are looking to hear about his thoughts and experiences as related to a life of trout angling...this would be the one..but if you are looking to learn something about the fine points of the sport..I don't think you will be pleased.
