Good information and maps. Will be a useful travel guide for exploring the many trout streams Virginia has to offer. If you trout fish in Virginia, you need this book!

If you're just getting started or are a tourist to our beautiful state this is a goto book for the trout fisherman in the western part of the state in Shenendoah watershed. Concise with good directions on how to get there. Chock full of info. Can't wait to work my way through it.

I have not had the opertunity to actually use the guide, but a friend who lives in one of the areas says that it very accuratly describes the areas. Both terraine and fish wise. I use the descriptions with my topo maps to plan out trips as time is available. We have a fishing lodge on the James river (Rockcliffe Farm Retreat and lodge) and try to keep information available to our guests that is reliable and accurate. This will be a great additon to the lodge library.
