I've owned this model helmet for 3 years now, and it has served me well. It's comfortable to wear on long trail rides, and is great for schooling. In the winter, the straps and "dial-fit system" adjust quickly and easily to accomodate the balaclava I wear under my helmet. Also, this model helmet has several vents which really help keep the head cool in the heat of summer.

Stay safe-always wear a helmet when you ride!!!!

This helmet is great for little girls. I think the best part about it is the auto dial on the back of the helmet that allows to you make it bigger and smaller. My daughter has a small head, so I was worried that I wouldnt be able to find a helmet that would fit her correctly, but this one does. There is an extra fold over feature to the liner so you can make it even more snug and it comes with an extra liner. My daughter especially loves that it's pink and has a silver horse on the side. The owners at the stable always comment that they love her helmet too.

My 11 y/o daughter loves this helmet. Easy to adjust and very comfortable. After her last lesson she got into the car wearing her helmet. When I asked her why she still had her helmet on, she said, "I totally forgot it was still on my head".

I purchased this helmet for my daughter. The fit was perfect. I like how it adjusts for a customized fit. Prompt delivery.

My daughter has been taking horseback riding lessons for a while now, so for Christmas this year it was time to get her some of her very own equipment. This Roxel Legacy Equestrian Helmet was a perfect gift for her. I made sure to check with her instructor on the size, but was still worried that it would not fit well. In fact, the helmet fit her perfectly, and most importantly, the adjustment dial on the back was easy to adjust to match several different sized heads. I had a perfect fit for her within seconds. Also, it seems to be really well constructed and sturdy, which is of course a requirement for a good riding helmet. Finally, it looks great. My daughter loves the pink color - which is not easy to find in riding helmets. For you equestrian fans out there - highly recommended!

This is an AWESOME helmet that we purchased at a fraction of the cost it was selling for at other retailers. It arrived super fast. Would recommend.

We got this for our 8 year old daughter for Christmas and we are very pleased with it. She loves to wear it for lessons because it looks cool!! We love the safety factor! The dial is a great feature since we couldn't try it on in person. I didn't have to worry about buying it too big and she has room to grow a bit too. She is little for her age so we purchased the small, but it should still last her at least 2 years.

I am adult rider with a freakishly tiny head and finding helmets has always been a challenge (in any sport -- when fencing in college I had to wear a child's size!)

This FITS. It does look a little ridiculous because it's an awfully big helmet, but for FIT and VALUE it can't be beat. It is, as other reviews have said, very light & well ventilated, which makes the adjustable fit even better in case I want to wear a knitted skull cap under it during cold New England winter riding!

The only drawback is the fitting apparatus which goes around the back of the head interferes with a ponytail; I will have to braid my hair before going to the barn or use a flat clip, low on my hair, to hold it back. That's a small price to pay for such a wonderfully adjustable helmet and not having to stuff paper towels in the brim, and would not have prevented me from buying this helmet.

size small was too small for my 7 year old: medium fits well. straps fit well, if a little long. the horse on the outside makes my child want to wear it.
