I am very pleased with this and will be buying it in black just to daily use in colder weather.

Great fit, multicam pattern is perfect.

The zipper is massively cheap, the snaps are almost impossible to snap, and well you see where I'm going.

The camo pattern matches well with other Tru-Spec multicam clothing we have for hunting.

Really not much to say here other than this garment is exactly what I expect from Tru-Spec: Well made, tough and very affordable.

Just received this on my front porch and new it was going to be a disappointment by the size of the box and how light the package was. If you've ever owned an M-65 field jacket before you won't be too happy with this one. It's more like a shirt that is cut like an M-65, except it does not have shoulder epaulets. VERY light weight(I'd say it's about half the weight of a real M-65. No joke) and I'm pretty sure there is no water repellent quality to it at all. The zipper is massively cheap, the snaps are almost impossible to snap, and well you see where I'm going. Really cheaply made and TRU-SPEC should be shamed of themselves for selling such a low quality garment. Especially for what they had been charging for it up til now. I got it on sale, so it doesn't hurt so bad, but what they were asking for this coat when it's not on sale is simply outrageous. If you get it for cheap, it will fill a certain niche, but don't buy it thinking it will keep you warm for days on end out in the bush like the old ones. Or last like them.

Jacket is not true mil spec quality or weight. I own 2 real M-65 jackets I kept from my time in the service and this jacket does not compare in any way in quality or warmth. You will definitely need to order a "real" M-65 liner to button inside this jacket you plan on using this jacket in temperatures below 50 degrees. Think of this as a thick blue jean jacket. Another concern is the snaps on the jacket. The zipper seems "okay", but the snaps are very hard to engage and disengage. I'm hoping they will loosen up over time. Also, the jacket sleeve openings are quite large. The sleeves have a nice hook and loop close with the idea of reducing the sleeve opening to keep the cold out, but the closures are not large enough to reduce the size by much at all.

Although this jacket is not the quality or weight as real M-65, I've decided to keep it for coyote hunting (after installing a liner) on warmer winter days. For the price, it's okay. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, this jacket runs a bit large. I ordered a medium regular and the sleeves are approximately 1.5" longer than the real M-65. This may not seem like much, but the additional 1.5" can become an issue when combined with the large sleeve opening. It makes it a but cumbersome.

Prompt shipping by the seller, A-1!
Have one of these jackets for myself I bought two years ago elsewhere.
Purchased this one for my son for turkey hunting in Minnesota.
Good price, would definitely not have paid more.
Tru-Spec is a reliable brand and Multicam is very effective in a wide variety of vegetation and terrain.
Not as heavy duty as original military issue M-65 jackets, partly because its ripstop material. (I still have my woodland camo one issued to me 1986)
Has all the velcro for name tapes, unit, flag patches etc, I carefully removed these with xacto knife.
Multicam works well in early spring thru fall in a wide variety of vegetation and terrain.
The camo pattern matches well with other Tru-Spec multicam clothing we have for hunting.
Button in liner fits perfectly, the jacket itself does not add much protection from colder weather.
Only thing I did not like is the snap buttons rattle when unbuttoned, not good when sneaking in the woods.
