I bought this keyboard because it had all the features I wanted, the wrist rest, the glide pad, the hot keys, the ergonomic design, but I was very disappointed that he right space bar lasted only 4 months on my first keyboard and only 2 months on the second (identical) keyboard that I purchased. I type a lot and give any keyboard a workout. The Tru-form Pro Media Contoured Touchpad Keyboard, is not durable enough for my use. I mean, a functional space bar is essential. I also noted that almost all of the keys have to be depressed exactly at the correct angle or there is a crunching sound. I approached Adesso for an exchange for a different board, but, after a month, they are still dragging their feet. Do not purchase this keyboard if you need a durable piece of equipment. Iam out a chunk of change and still typing on a keyboard I purchased at Goodwill a good while back. It is not pretty, but it does not miss a day of work.

I had liquid spilled on my old keyboard and feared I wouldn't find a replacement. The Adesso is nearly the same except it located the touch pad for a left handed person. I keep reaching for the right hand position where it should be.
It has buttons on top but since I don't use Outlook they provide no utility for me.

I was thrilled to find a replacement for my older ergonomic keyboard with touchpad. Unfortunately, the touchpad is located in between the split keyboard which means either the right or left wrist will be bent at an awkward angle. At the end of the first day of use, my right wrist was hurting very badly. The previous keyboard had the touchpad under the arrow keys where it was readily accessible with the right hand. I thought I could get used to the new location but it certainly diminishes the comfort level of this keyboard. In addition, the keyboard has had "stuck keys" at least twice in the first week. (Sticking keys was the reason I decided to replace my old keyboard).

Result: I have a more awkwardly designed keyboard that isn't working much better than the one I replaced. Unless you are really good with your thumbs on a touchpad, you will need a mouse -- which defeats the purpose for the combination keyboard.

On the good side, the touchpad is well designed and worked immediately without having to install any software and the "touch" of the keyboard is decent.

My advice to the manufacturer: move the touchpad toward the right-hand side and put the ten-key pad a bit closer to the left. Duplicate right and left "mouse buttons" at the top of the touchpad (like my laptop) would also be a nice feature. Make one like that and I'll order several! Even better, have a version for "lefties" with the touchpad under the left-hand alphabetical keys!
