Was looking for a shampoo for a curly headed toddler. Wanted the shampoo to have two qualities, safe for kids and their eyes and paraben free. While this seemed to be the right product, sadly it was very drying on the little one's hair. Would steer clear if you are a curly. T

The good news is that it works well on fine straight hair. That said I do applaud TruKid for their attempt to go the chemical free route when creating this shampoo.

This stuff is GREAT! My Daughter is about to turn two and she has fine curly hair. The baby shampoos just weren't cutting it anymore so I started researching all natural kids shampoos with conditioner. I was turned on to the EWG website and was shocked to see that one of the "organic" baby shampoos I have been using is rated a 4! It truly is scary what companies get away with when it comes to their marketing. TruKid is rated a 1, which is about as good as you can get (without only washing with water) and it combined with the TruKid conditioner REALLY works. You only need one pump of each to cover a toddler-sized-head and the shampoo lathers really well! My daughters hair is manageable, it's shinier than ever, and I don't have to worry about what I'm putting on her head and--consequently through rinsing--her eyes. I will be a loyal TruKid customer for life! Two thumbs up! P.s: It's funny now, but I actually thought the shampoo would be blue and was pleasantly surprised that it is in fact clear. :)

After trying several organic brands of shampoos and conditioners that just end up drying out my daughter's curly/wavy hair, this one finally seems to do the trick. Other brands didn't help at all with the tangles, or (if they claim to be "moisturizing") just felt heavy on her very fine hair. I've gotten more compliments on her curls since I started using TruKid. I also love that TruKid is organic, smells great and doesn't hurt my daughter's eyes when I wash it out of her hair. Love all their products!

I adore all the products. The shampoo and conditioner are among my favorites. It is impressive that in "sophisticated" New York City I have had two different hairdresser at two different salons comment on the health of my hair. This is since using TruKid products. At the risk of sounding like a paid ad, I will also say that their customer service is the best. I am a fan for the long haul.
