5.0 out of 5 stars Truxedo Cover - Honda Ridgeline
Seems to be a well made product that was easy to install, it took less than 1/2 an hour. The only difficult part was locating the proper size Torx bits (T-40 & T-50) to remove upper tie down brackets (which you have to leave off).

When I tried to install a Truxedo bed cover unit, there are several issues with it.
- Missing latch assembly
- Mis-matching latch bolt and nut assemblies.
- Tailgate end mounting head bolts touch or interfere with the in-bed trunk lid opening and closing.
- There are about 1.5" gaps between cabin end side rails and the truck cabin wall.

I found this product very easy to install on my Honda Ridgeline. The hardest thing I ran across was removing the hex screws from the bed of the truck. It appear they used locktight to install. Follow instructions and you will be find. Oh! there is one area that may give you problems. That area is where the hooks are removed at the front of the bed. You made need 3" of weather striping in that area for best seal. I hav'nt notice any wet area in bed after rain.
This was by far the best price I found since searching on the internet. I would recommend this product.

Amazon's price on this tonneau cover was the lowest by far. Shipping was fast. The item was exactly as it was described. Installation was quick and easy. The cover opens and closes quickly and easily. It looks good and has been virtually watertight through some heavy downpours. Great addition to the truck.

- Mounting bolts at cabin end side rails can not be tightened because end side rails started to bend inward as there are nothing stopping them except weather-seal foams. If side rails are extended to close 1.5" gaps, this problem will be fixed.
- Mounting metric bolts appear to be cheap and do not match well with the truck's OE bolt appearance and color.

The leather cover appears to be well-made, solid and robust. No comments since I couldn't install it because of missing latch assembly. I immediately returned it for full-refund. If Truxedo fixes side rail design and quality issues as noted above, I will reconsider buying a Truxedo cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Nice!, January 3, 2012
This review is from: TruXedo 520601 Lo Profile QT Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover (Misc.)
I just put this on my 11 Ridgeline. 30 minutes. Only one negative and that is you lose the top front tie downs, if you don't remove them they would interfere with the front rail of the cover. Really huge make-up advantages with this is that, unlike other trucks which use "clamps" to attach the side rails, the Truxedo side rails for the Ridgeline use factory holes for a super clean, super secure, installation and two, you don't have to worry about front/back alignment or very much about leveling ... just bolt the rails in and move on! Just take care as you install the side rails that the rubber seal doesn't curl under and get caught as you tighten the three bolts. If it does, it's a simple fix, just loosen, lift out the edge of the seal with a dull knife, and re-tighten. You will need a #40 and a #50 Torx but other than that simple hand tools will suffice. Final fit of the cover is excellent and I mean EXCELLENT. I read one review that the front doesn't seal properly, not so on mine, the seal is absolutely perfect. I read another that the rear doesn't line up properly, not so on mine, it fits perfectly. It would be nice if the cover was an inch longer so it covered an inch of the top of the tail gate but to do that would require compromising the fit at the end of the sides so I prefer it the way it is. It would be nice if the supplied bolts were stainless, it will be interesting to see how the plating on those that are supplied holds up over time. All this said, trust me, everyone who has seen this is amazed at how well it fits and how good it looks, sides tucked down inside the fender walls, built in metal support tubes keeping it taught across the middle, sealed front and back. Two notes. First, I've been told it is very important to apply a quality uv protectant every month. Two, I did not purchase this from Amazon. I was and still am mad at Amazon for not backing me up on a sour purchase from an off-site vendor that advertises on Amazon. The local vendor had the same price on the Truxedo, I just ate the 10% tax premium. I will never again purchase anything from one of Amazon's off-site vendors but am back to buying most things Amazon itself inventories which I believe is the case with this tonneau cover.

I bought one of these for my son's 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Easy installation and great quality. I already had one on my 2003 Ford F150. 3 years old and still like new. You might pay a little more than others, but it is worth it!
