This is probably one of the finest CD's of the "Trucker" genre.One of the very few CD's that actually contains the original version of "Six Days on the Road" by Dave Dudley(what an awesome booming voice he had !!!).To my knowledge this is the only CD that'll contain "The White Knight" by Cledus Maggard and the Citizens Band.Now that is one cool novelty song!!!My only reason for giving this 4 stars instead of 5,was that I'd rather have the original Red Sovine songs,instead of Boxcar Willie singing 2 of his songs here.I Like Boxcar,but I have to wonder why Red got left out------he was a huge part of this style.It sounds great,and brings new life to some forgotten classics.You'll be happy with this one!!

Nice collection of old songs by original artists. I was looking for a specific title within the collection that had been otherwise difficult to find. (Phantom 309)

Bought as a gift for my 20 year old son. He loves it! He would agree with the positive responses posted that this is truly a CD for those that love the trucker genre in country music.

I would like to say, this cd is for me one of the best so far, it has most of the songs that I like. I would recomend it to all the people that like country truckers music. thanks.

A good collection of music through the years. Had me singing while going down the road.

Good CD. Lots of memories and almost the usual Time-Life quality. One track, # 11,(I'm A Truck, by Red Simpson) was bad and does not play correctly at the beginning. It this is the song you buy the CD for, (this song was the deciding factor in my buying this CD), then you will be disappointed, though there are many other great hits on this CD.

Had to call after almost 3 weeks to amazon about no delivery, was refunded shipping cost and product showed up a few days later. (1) song skips pretty bad (scratched). I will try again, Thanks!
