About the Author
Jim Geeting served with distinction for twenty years in Wyoming law enforcement, having retired in 2003. In that time, he served as a member of the Wyoming Highway Patrol Special Services Squad (reactionary team); a WHP academy instructor, a field training officer and range officer. He was decorated several times to include a Distinguished Service Medal for Bravery and a Purple Heart, for serious injuries in the line of duty.
For five years now, he has written an award-winning column called, "The Badge," which appears weekly in several newspapers across the Rocky Mountain region. In that work, he talks of the human interactions between police, the public they serve and the sometimes emotional toll law enforcement can take on its members.

Never before have I seen the genuine and very real charactor of truckers revealed so well. Geeting does it once again, this time the whole book is dedicated to one topic - truckers.
It's obvious a state trooper who lived with these people wrote this and felt the words. I recommend this book to everyone who is or knows, a driver. Great read!
