five stars and still not the best pastels record out there, April 5, 2001

I'd have gotten this for their version of the Stone Poneys Different Drum ' alone . you should listen to that one first .
There are a whole lot of boy / girl fuzzie guitar pop bands out there but i'd have to say the the pastels are one of the few who can really pull it off . the great about this cd is that you get to hear the pastels develop over the years . there's the droney songs , the more singsong ones . . . sleepy , can't say much more without making even less sense than I already am .
So you should pick this one up .
