I like the one piece design. Sanitary and easy to wash and use. The spatula head is 4" by 2 1/4 inches which is about as large as any spatula I have ever used. So I don't know what product the other reviewer is talking about who says it is "too small" to be useful. Over all the spatula is 10' long. My only dislike about it is the stiffness of most of it. Personally, I like a more flexible utensil... but I think this is just a matter of preference.

One-piece spatulas are the only way to go, and this is the one I reach for most often. I also have two Chef'n Switchit Dual-Ended one-piece spatulas (a long and a small) and they're great, too. The Trudeau and Chef'n spatulas are shaped differently, so each are suited for different tasks, but all are essential to my kitchen. I recommend that you have all three, but if you don't get all at once, definitely start here with the 10-inch Trudeau. Then you can throw away those pesky two-piece spatulas that separate at the worst possible times, and that collect bacteria and debris in their nooks and crannies - yechhh!

Super little spatula. I grab this one for most jobs in the kitchen - stirring in pots, mixing smaller amounts of batter, etc. Very comfortable in the hand as are the other 3 Trudeau spatulas I own. Very cheerful color, washes like a dream. The only thing that would be a nice improvement is if it were 11-12" long, but that is a minor issue.

I agree with another poster; the handle could be about an inch longer. However, I knew that when I purchased it. Also, it is heat resistant up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, not 500, as stated in the description.

I love this brand of spatula. They are all one piece and easy to clean and work great. I have all sizes.

I purchased one of these spatulas and after using it for two weeks, I purchased four more! They are my favorite all purpose spatula. I use all five spatula's almost every day. They are comfortable, have just enough flexibility and wash easily (no cracks for food to hide!). They are a little on the short side so on rare occassions I wish I had one with a longer handle.

This spatula is truly heat-proof and very sturdy. I would like it better of the handle were longer though. My hand is a little closer to the heat than is comfortable.

This spatula feels very solid in the hand and cleanup is a breeze, but there are some flaws. It's a little too rigid and thick to turn an egg or scrape a bowl or jar effectively. I've purchased other silicon spatulas and spoons at much lower prices that work just as well or considerably better than this one.

I love love love my spatula. I use it for everything. It's one piece, so stuff doesn't get trapped in it to fester, it doesn't fall apart and is easy to clean.

The handle has just enough give that it feels nice to hold. It doesn't get my tendonitis going, which is very nice because most spatulas and other grip-requiring kitchen tools do (don't even get me started on tongs).

It's great for stirring and mixing; you do have to be willing to apply a little pressure to keep things from settling or sticking to the bottom of a pan.

It's great for scraping - you have to use the right edge, of course, but it's pretty easy to figure out which side that is. The pointed tip makes it very easy to get everything out of a bowl or pan or even a can, because you can get right into the corners with it. It's just flexible enough to get into tight corners, too.

Some people were complaining that it wasn't flexible enough; that's my favorite thing about it! With other spatulas, I have literally had them bend and then snap out of my hand, to go flying across the room in two pieces, splattering foodstuffs on the carpet in their wake. Not so with this tool! It moves what you are moving with it, without fail.

I haven't gone a day without using this since I bought it, which makes the ease of clean-up an extra bonus. Because I don't dirty enough dishes to run the dishwasher every day, I end up handwashing it - and I trust that it gets clean, because there is no convenient place on the spatula for bacteria to hide.

If I had unlimited funds, I would buy a tropical island, a Harley-Davidson, and a set of these spatulas for everyone I know.

A great one-piece spatula. I use it for small batches and scraping. The shape allows me to easily scrape different bowl sizes and shapes. It's small and sturdy, and the one-piece design makes it easy to clean. I hand-wash my dishes so I don't know how dishwasher-safe it is. It's also strong enough to quickly flatten garlic (place garlic in plastic bag and have a go at it). And, since it is silicone, it can be used with hot foods and the thin edge allows you to turn something over like pancakes or grilled cheese, or stir-fry. While some people complain that it's stiff, I can assure you that the stiffness is a desired trait since it's shorter than most other utensils. I love this versatile spatula and it's a great addition to my kitchen. I highly recommend this tool.
