Haven't done fondue before, but I had a great experience with this. Great for sharing with family or friends. Only issue for me is that all the fondue forks are identical, so it's a little hard to tell whose fork is whose, but I fixed that with Sharpee markers. :) Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful product, loved it. Got it just before the holidays and used it when we had a houseful of family at Christmas and friends at New Years. Very versatile. Easy setup, easy clean up. Makes it easy to find something that everyone can enjoy. Used it with meats and also again with cheese and then finally chocolate! Will be purchasing another in the near future so we can have several going at the same time.Highly recommended as a good buy.

I am very pleased with this fondue pot. The lazy susan and the accessories make this pot worth purchasing. It keeps everything simple and the fondue experience fun.

I gave this present to my boyfriend's brother and sister-in-law this Christmas along with a fondue recipe book (Great Party Fondues). They love it! They had never had/done fondue before, so it was a fun new activity. They had their first "fondue party" with friends a few weeks ago and raved about it! I would definitely recommend this product. I really like that it has a Lazy Susan for the dippers for easy sharing - no need to reach over people or the fondue :-)

Love this fondue set! Beautiful presentation and lazy susan perfect for serving vegetables and meats. However....the ceramic bowl was accidentally broken and I am unable to find a replacement part in spite of numerous searches including the Trudeau website.

I ordered two of these to serve French Onion cheese fondue for a wedding I was catering. Among the other items I was serving, this was perfect to feed 400 people! I ordered the Trudeau gel fuel which burned nice and evenly, the heat adjustment worked great! The porcelain bowls were a tad small, but we had extra platters with the Italian bread we served. It worked out great and looked very elegant! I plan on ordering four more for future events!

Bought this from a local outlet store. My husband and I had been researching fondue pots for a little while and we had decided we didn't want an electric one. This one appealed to both of us b/c of the lazy susan. I also loved the little dipping spoons that came for the sauce bowls.

Pros: 3 in 1 design, lazy susan is metal, sauce pan can be used on stove top, gel fuel kept broth warm enough to fully cook chicken and it also kept the cheese course warm. I also liked that the ceramic insert was removable so I didn't have to clean the bowl between courses.
Cons: Fuel gel had to be refilled 3 times during the meal and the top insert that holds the forks in place during the meat course was more a hindrance than helpful.

I do believe that my husband and I are going to enjoy this set. I can't wait to have a real fondue party with friends!

That's what my wife says -- and especially about this fondue pot! It's lazy susan makes sharing all sorts of treats among your table companions very easy. At 40oz, the pot is easily large enough for 4...6...even ten people.

Careful where you store the base, however...it looks and feels like it can be bent easily...making the lazy susan all but useless.

I bought this fondue set for my husband's birthday and he loved it! We LOVE fondue at the house - easy and fun! The lazy susan with dipping bowls and spoons is a nice touch. Be careful with the stainless pot (outer pot), it doesn't sit into the wire rack as neatly as it could, so there is a possibility of it shifting some as you stir the contents - the same w/the ceramic pot, it doesn't fit snug into the outer one and can move around some when you stir the contents. The forks are not color coded, as some are; rather, they have lines on the handle to differentiate btw them - one line, two lines, three, etc. For the broth, four people is about the max that can use this - two forks apiece, so 8 in the pot at once is crowded, but definitely doable. For cheese and chocolate, you're just dipping into the pot, so more people could join in. This comes w/a container for lighter fluid (be sure to buy correct kind); but, we actually used sternos b/c we couldn't find the gel. We are pleased, so far, with our first fondue pot purchase! Great for the price.

Like 80% of the other people mentioned, when i received it, the box was open, however you could tell that it was just the box design, NOT that someone had opened it previously. Mine was a gift to my bf so I had no problem using clear packing tape to seal the edges. The one major suggestion would be to BUY THE GEL FUEL AT THE SAME TIME! I didn't realize that it didn't come with it and had a hard time locating it- finally found it at a chef supply store. We used it for choclate fondue w/ the kids on New Years Eve and it was a lot of fun! The lazy Susuan was def the best feature- made it very easy for everyone to reach the different items w/o having to reach over other people. Someone mentioned that the forks were not labled, but ours had 1-6 lines on the ends to tell whose is whose. I would def recommend this item!
