I purchased this set primarily for the round mold as I make breakfast sandwiches and had tried all the metal "non-stick" egg rings I could find...none of them were non-stick no matter how much cooking spray I used. The star is only good for thick batters like pancake...it won't work on egg because the shape doesn't allow it to sit flush on the pan/griddle so it will leak egg unless you have the pan smoking hot which scorches the egg. The round is a lot larger than expected...it is more of a silver dollar pancake size rather than english muffin or biscuit size like all other egg rings. If you use one large egg it barely covers the bottom of the pan and is very thin...I use only egg whites and have to use two to make it work. The heart works ok with egg and is good for pancake batter. Over all very pleased...egg and pancake releases completely and clean up is a SNAP. Would definitely recommend...the only thing that could make it better is the round mold being smaller. I will continue to search for a smaller silicone egg ring.

I am happy to report that the pancake ring set works great. I like to make uniformed pancakes and I have bought the metal ones and even sprayed them with oil to keep from sticking but it did not work. Something else to give away or throw away but these are a keeper and I like them for eggs.
