Trudeau's battery-powered pepper mill has a one-handed design with a sleek bullet shape. A simple press of a button on top activates the grinder.

Its sturdy, plastic body has a glossy, steel-like finish. Inside, it houses rustproof grind gears (made from an extra-strong ceramic), that mill peppercorns in a dual chop-then-grind method releasing as much flavor as possible. The body unscrews to reveal a battery chamber--requires four AAA batteries (not included). Lift the black section off to uncover the see-through acrylic chamber when it's time to refill with peppercorns. This mill also works well as a grinder for sea salt or spices.

The Trudeau battery-operated pepper mill is not dishwasher-safe. Wash by hand without immersing in water or holding under running tap. Use damp cloth and mild detergent to clean the mill body, toweling dry thoroughly when clean. The pepper mill measures 2 inches in diameter by 5-3/4 inches tall. This is the greatest gadget - it's fun using it over salads, in skillets or pots over the stove --anyplace you love cracked pepper. I totally recommend it; in fact, I'm ordering another one to use with sea salt so I have a matching set.

Love the pepper mill. Bought one for myself and one as a gift. Especially like the size. Unlike a previous one I had, it's not top heavy and easily knocked over. The shorter height is ideal.

This mill is great for pepper and sea salt. My friends all love it, and are always asking where to get it. It is getting harder to find. I recommend buying at least 2 for yourself. It is also a good idea to buy several to give as gifts! My friends are always happy to get their own mill.
