5.0 out of 5 stars Really great!
I'm so pleased with this. It keeps beverages steaming hot, and best of all, it DOES NOT LEAK. The lid stays secure.

Takes a couple washes to get the factory smell out of the lid and then it's fine.

"Grande" sized, minus an ounce or so for thickness of the ceramic.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great, Except for the Leaking
If it weren't for the fact that the lid leaks this'd be a great product. It really is fantastic in all other respects. A leaky lid, though, is a deal-breaker. Especially since the leak occurs from where you sip - this is a guaranteed recipe for getting it all over yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars No leaks. Cool Product, October 14, 2010

After reading about leaks on a similar product, Not a Paper Cup, I wasn't sure about this one, but thought I'd try it because I really liked the idea and the price was right. Bingo. This one was a hit. I can't make it leak and the silicone and ceramic are exactly the non-toxic environmentally friendly materials that I was looking for.

This coffee mug does what it says it does. The double wall keeps liquids hot longer. It's ceramic, so it doesn't get grubby and absorb odors like plastic. And it can be microwaved (when the coffee does get cool) and put in the dishwasher (unlike most stainless steel vacuum cups). And it costs way less that DCI's "I am not a Paper Cup".

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product!!, August 7, 2010

This mug is absolutely wonderful. It keeps your drink hot/warm for a long time. The lid stays secured, and there are no leaks. It has held up beautifully after being in the dishwasher, and it warms up your drink great in the microwave. I have nothing but great things to say about this mug. I plan on purchasing more.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Insulated Ceramic Cup, December 18, 2010

I like to take a cup of coffee on my commute. I don't like the waste (or taste) of paper cups, so I'm always on the lookout for a good cup.

I have a few requirements: the cup should be ceramic (no off-flavors) and double-walled (to keep the coffee hot and the cup cool); it should be easy to clean; it should have a top that doesn't have a smell or taste and that doesn't dribble coffee down my chin as I'm drinking.

This cup satisfies all three, I'm happy to report. The cup insulates fairly well and the soft rubber top has little smell or taste. Very happy with this mug.

One thing to note is that this is a 10 ounce cup. I'd like it to be just a bit larger.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just Right Little Ceramic Travel Tumbler, September 9, 2010

I really like this attractively designed, ten ounce, non-dribbling, double walled, ceramic tumbler. Durable enough for the dishwasher, car, and microwave, this is my "mug" of choice when leaving the house or even around the house to maintain the temperature of what I am drinking and keep extraneous critters out of my drink. This tumbler keeps drinks relatively hot for about 30 minutes.

This cup seems to work fine, no leaks yet. The lid smelled a bit at first but that seems to be dissipating. My only tiny complaint would be that it's not quite big enough. About 30 more ml would be great.

3.0 out of 5 stars Minor Leaks and Cold Coffee, January 3, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Trudeau Xpress Ceramic Tumbler, Chocolate Colored Lid and Grip (Kitchen)
I purchased a Trudeau Xpress Ceramic Tumbler with the specific intent of scouting out a possible permanent replacement to my collection of various steel and plastic travel mugs that I use to port my morning coffee.

Sadly as much as I want to like this product I'm going to have to rate it as "it's okay". On looks alone this little tumbler gets high marks for it's bright-white polished ceramic finish and espresso colored silicone lid and grip. Though unfortunately my praise ends at the aesthetics. Unlike the steel mugs this tumbler was meant to replace my coffee was at best lukewarm by the time I reached my office - roughly a 25 minute door to door commute. Granted this is early January that I'm writing this review and the weather is cold where I live. Still with even my with my cheapest steel tumblers I could at least count on arriving to work with hot coffee.

Another issue, as widely reported in other reviews, is the lid. Although it does seem to form a tight seal around the tumbler it does leak a bit. It could be that the silicone expands under the heat of the coffee allowing for leaks. But even just a drop of coffee on a tie or shirt is enough to warrant regulating this product to weekend use in sweats only duty.

For now my search for a suitable ceramic tumbler continues.
