I use at least one of these bowls nearly every day. You get a handle to hold as well as a pour spout and a rubberized bottom to avoid sliding. I am so glad I bought this set.

After having this set for a while now and using the bowls quite regularly, the large red bowl has somehow gotten a crack in the bottom (starting at a point in the center and going outward in a sort of firework pattern). I have not dropped my bowls and wash them either by hand or in the dishwasher (top drawer). I actually thought I might have messed up by washing them in the dishwasher, creating the crack (making it useless for anything with liquids), and came back to reread the description. It is listed as dishwasher-safe.

I figured I would edit my review so other customers can know my experience. Since no one else seems to have this problem, my case may just be a strange anomaly. Take from it what you will.

These bowls are great and are already seeing lots of action in my kitchen. I use them for mixing, informal serving, and storage.

Pluses: tough, colorful, deep, rubberized ring on bottom to keep them in place, useful pour spouts, good range of sizes, excellent price

Minuses: Can't use in the microwave, no lids

Everything always breaks when it hits my tile floors, but not these bowls, they simply bounce to a halt. The rubber bottom helps to stabilize them when mixing. The colors hold up to the dishwasher.

I am so happy with these mixing bowls -- not just their cheery colors, but the range of sizes, clever pouring spouts, rubber-rimmed bottoms and lightweight sturdiness. They're holding up nicely in the dishwasher too!

Love the bright colors on these bowls. They are super functional too and the sizes seems to work well for various mixing jobs.

I just have to say how great a company this is! I purchased a set of these bowls and upon taking them out of the box, the paper strap that was holding them together broke and they fell to the floor. Two of the bowls broke so I emailed the company hoping they would send replacement bowls and they were so great they shipped out a whole new set at NO CHARGE! Is that great customer service or what!

I purchased this set a few month's back, been so impressed with them, that I went out of my way to offer a review. They are extremely durable, I put something very hot in one of them and it was no problem. Also, they are very easy to clean (a plus to us who have no dishwasher) I just filled the very dirty bowl with water and in 5 minutes, all the stuck on food came off with a quick brush stroke. They are great to use for holding potato chips or other snacks, because of their colors. They are very easy on the wrists when used for mixing, because they are deeper with a smaller cirumfrance than other mixing bowls. I really can't believe that I got such a great set at such an inexpensive price.

I am happy I purchased this set. They are durable and multifunctional. Perfect for my RV lifestyle. The handle and non-skid bottom make mixing easy. They are attractive and can be used to serve in for my casual dining style. The set nests , so they store compactly. Very happy I purchased this set.

I was pleased to find these bowls and was delighted for two months. Unfortunately I have a problem with this set and feel obligated to warn buyers to avoid this item. I am most concerned as I cared for my red bowl very carefully. I bought it Nov. 15, 2009 and Friday, February 26, 2010, the bottom center developed a hole the size of a dime with plastic chipped out around it. I never used any sharp objects with this bowl, washed it by hand and used wooden spoons. Buyer beware!

As other reviewers have said, the bright, cheery colors of these bowls really liven up my kitchen. Everything else in my small apartment is black and white and gray, and these bowls have given it a much needed jolt of color. I've been mixing a lot of pancake batter in these, just because the blazing colors cheer me up. Kinda lame, I'll admit, but there it is.

Since my kitchen is small, I love that they stack together. The pour spouts are a great help, and they are suprisingly sturdy, and the rubber on the bases really works to keep them steady.

I do wish they had lids, but they don't and don't advertise that they do so I can't really dock them points for that. They are really nifty, and I would buy more if they came in more colors.
