Worked great the first time but only the second use it got moisture between the double walls that wouldn't evaporate. I'm not sure if the moisture was from condensation or from washing it. The instructions warned not to put in a dishwasher but this wasn't a problem for me because I hardly ever use my dishwasher. I didn't immerse it but simply rinsed it out with the spray from the sink mounted sprayer and used a soft brush to clean the inside. It appears that the double walls aren't formed together but are held together and "sealed" by the two stainless steel bands at the top and bottom of the plastic brewer/tumbler. The brewer/glass arrived without the slider closure on the lid but the seller quickly shipped a replacement lid it after they promptly returned my call.
This tea brewer/travel tumbler would be ideal if it could be properly sealed.

I liked it while it was new. I drank a lot of black tea in it, so it stained fairly quickly, which I didn't mind because I like things that are well worn. The reason I gave it such a low rating is because liquid somehow got in between the two walls and turned gross. It turned putrid, weighed down the cup and just gave it an overall icky feeling. The liquid gradually acumulated.

I liked the basket, even though I didn't really use it since I only had bagged teas. And it was cool to see the color of my tea through the plastic. However, the plastic was never completely clear, it was always clouded with steam, which makes sense but took away some from the presentation.

Contraption seems great, but cup is not seamless and water got inbetween cup sides..mold starting to grow & no way to clean it. This product is limited in my house. Also, lid is difficult to sip from, it tends to drown you because the tea doesn't flow.

This travel tumbler will save you time and grief if you drink loose teas. It is hassle-free! Just put your tea in the little mesh basket, pour in your hot water and go. The only complaint I would have is that the tea does not stay hot for an extended period of time (only about an hour), so if you drink it fast, it's fine. I would definately recommend it!

I received this for Christmas and it ended up being the best gift EVER! I love to drink loose tea but because it was so inconvenient I never drank it. This completely changed that! I now can take a mug of loose tea and have it travel with me. The large basket allows for the tea leaves to expand giving your tea a nice rich flavor. I would recommend this item to anyone who is a constant tea drinker!

nice gift, well recieved. only complaint is that the clasp in tea strainer lid is tight, you will chip ar split your nail every time you open it.

I'm sorry i didnt order at least 4 more of this item. Its one of my most convenient items. I take it everywhere! you will never be disappointed!

Although a great concept, the travel mug isn't long lasting. After a week, the handle on the basket snapped off. While this wouldn't make it a deal breaker. The water that has gotten into the inner wall has started looking moldy and I'm not comfortable using the mug. Although cheap, if its just going to last a week, probably not that cheap after all. Don't recommend this at all.

Bought this to travel with tea. I travel extensively and this was pitched after a week. The lid does not seal well at all. What I did like is the volume of tea you can out into it. Most travel tea mugs only allow a small amount of tea. This had just the right amount. Just could never get the lid to seat right!

This cup is garbage! I'm really mad at myself for paying $12.99 for junk! Thank God that I didn't have to pay for the shipping!
