True Blood 2010 Wall Calendar

I've heard some complaints that all the pics are from Season 1, but that doesn't bother me. I also don't mind that they are stills, not photos done specifically for the calender. What does bother me is that the pics they did use are lame! Come on! Am I really supposed to get excited about Tara, Sam and Sookie sitting there looking off camera, or Sookie and Amy outside on their break at Merlotte's? There are so many cooler/hotter/more iconic shots they could have used. This calendar is just so so boring. Don't waste your money - seriously, even if you find it 75% off after the first of the year, it is so not worth it. :(

Just what I wanted (not), a bunch of stills from the show, most that aren't that good. I would guess that December has the only posed picture of them all.

I've already talked two friends out of ordering this and we are major TB fans.

I just got my True Blood Calendar...I like it and all, cept. I wish it had...better pictures, of the cast. One picture I would have liked, to have seen, was when Sookie first saw Bill at Sam's. And it would be nice if there where pictures of the calendar, you could see...not just the front..So, you could get a better idea of the product. All and all ...I like it....

I love True Blood, doesn't everyone who bought this? I am amazed, however, at all the different scene options from a show like this to choose from and the ones used, really arent that spectacular.... not bad...just not great...

Another no-frills calendar that barely gets by simply on the merits of having a dozen fairly good promo photos. Beyond that, the lack of design on the calendar portion of the pages is notable -- a simply grey-to-black gradient fill that has no meaning or association with the show. In short, the design of this calendar is cookie-cutter, with no knowledge of the show informing any of the decisions about the calendar's design. To contrast this calendar with how calendars were made in good economic times: They could have had one main photo and then a location exterior (Merlotte's, Fangtasia, the Compton mansion, etc), maybe a map of the town lightly superimposed over the calendar portion of the page, maybe some advertising for the "True Blood" drink or Vampire Rights Amendment support logos, maybe some Louisiana trees and swamp textures, etc. -- the possibilities are numerous, if only calendar makers had more than an hour to throw together one calendar before they were on to the next one. What we have here is the epitome of what calendars look like when no effort is put into them.

Don't buy this! The other reviewer is being WAY too kind. The pictures aren't exciting, salacious, or even interesting enough to be on a wall for a month. Don't be fooled by the cover! The pics are really just shoulder up profiles of actors, not even when they are in any particular pose or in any memorable scene. This calendar has the Maenad chick from the second season, along with Godrick (not sure why they're in this calendar in lieu of Pam or Jesus or some other character of significance).

If you're a collector of some sort, I guess it's okay for you, probably because you won't open it.

If not, it's not worth going on the wall.

I am very disappointed by the photos in this calendar. Only one picture of Eric from 1st season. Photos of random moments when the characters. Why would I want to see Sam, Tara and Sookie sitting looking shocked on a bench in church for a month. There are also 2 months of Bill dipping Sookie over to bite her. One month not enough?

The photo choices are poor and random and all (I think) are from the 1st season. I wouldn't waste my money.

I love True Blood, and watch it religiously, even stalk them to Comi-Con's. This is horrible. First off, it has pictures from season three...for a 2012 calendar. I think a season four calendar would be more appropriate, the season is almost over, and has been on for a while, and production started a long time ago. Second it features close ups of individual characters, once. That means whoever you like you can only see once, and if you don't like someone, well you are stuck with their face for a month. I would have much preferred a few pictures of scenes, funny moments or just group pictures, with a few close ups. Finally, the pictures aren't the even some of the best ones. Clearly there is a large following of Vamp. Eric, well his picture not only is the last one, but highlights some of his worst physical qualities (which granted are few and far between. These pictures are either random, or more frequently zoom-in close ups of their faces.

i had this calendar last year and i loved every month until i read these reviews lol! THEYRE RIGHT! i had not thought of how they totally couldve used better pics.. but at the time I LOVED IT!

All this is are still shots from the show. You think they could have actually taken the time to take 12 photos for this calendar. If you are a fan of the show you will most likely be disappointed.
