very good album. If you are into instrumental bluegrass, my favorites are Tony Rice the bluegrass guitar collection, Ultimate pickin' vol 1 and 2, this one and another called Fiddle Fever. All done with very good quality recording.

This is an excellent selection of bluegrass instrumentals. The scope is wide and gives many tunes and styles in this genre.

If you want to get your toe tapping listen to this CD.
The TRUE BLUEGRASS INSTRUMENTALS is one honey collection of some of the best pickers, strummers, and fiddlers in the business-past and present!
Very good bargain for the money.

I've enjoyed the CD, but I find the banjo often overpowers the other instruments and tends to make the songs a little monotonous after a while. I'd like a more varied sound. So I prefer the Country Mountain Bluegrass CD for it's lively tunes and use of dulcimer and mandolin as much as banjo. The Country Cooking CD is also better choice for more variety in its sound.
