5.0 out of 5 stars MADE ME LAUGH, MADE ME CRY, MADE ME HOLLAR
THIS IS THE SECOND OF KIM LOUISE'S BOOKS THAT I HAVE READ AND REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE. AS USUAL SHE ENTAILED SUSPENSE,ROMANCE AND COMICS. I JUST ORDERED ALL HER BOOKS TO CATCH MYSELF UP BEFORE THE NEXT ONE COMES OUT. I HAVE FOUND HER TO BE A GOOD WRITER RIGHT ALONG WITH SOME OF MY OTHER FAVORITES, JACKSON, ALERS, ESDAILE AND RAY.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay Read
The book has a very good story line. I enjoyed the book but it was a little to drawn out. The story was focused on Marti and Kenyon but she played it out a little to much. I had a hard time staying focused. There are some parts of the story I feel she could have left out.

I loved this book it made me laugh! You have got to read this book because you don't know what you are missing. I thought it was really sweet when Kenyon finally was man enough to admit his mistakes and take care of Marti in her time of need.

5.0 out of 5 stars So-oo sweet and So-oo good!, September 15, 2004
This review is from: True Devotion (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
This novel will make you laugh and cry but it won't let you put it down until you reach the end. And then you will want to go back and re-read parts of it because, well, it's just that good. You will fall in love with Kenyon, even though you will want to smack him upside the head. And you will root for Marti to get her man. This was an excellent book by a woman who is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Keep the good books coming Ms. Louise!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Heartwarming Read, February 4, 2003
This review is from: True Devotion (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I thought this book was wonderful! Marti's persistence and assertiveness made me smile, while Ken's attempt at househould chores made me laugh! Ken sure was a hard nut to crack, but Marti managed just fine! And in the end, Ken's true devotion to her shined. Can't wait until Ms. Louise pens the stories of the other Allgood sisters!
