This is a perfect accent to my "Old World" theme dining room. Fits perfectly in the corner of the room and houses 6 regular size wine bottles.

This is a decorative wine HOLDER box, there's no way it was meant to be used as a functional mode of transporting wine around.
It looks nice, and its larger than i expected. It isn't the best made structurally, and a few of the structural short cuts show up as cosmetic flaws. For example, the dividers inside are held together partially by staples that are visible. But its not that big of a deal for what i purchased it for, a gift to my attorney. The wine inside is the real gift, i just didn't want to put it in some corny basket with crap cheeses and such. I'm happy with it overall because it looks decent.

This is a very nice looking case. From how well it looks, you would suspect it costs much more. However, the beauty is only skin deep. I would not trust the handle to carry the weight of six wine bottles. One of the decorative pins inside one of the handle's rivet heads started to pull out the first time I used the handle to pick it up. On the inside of the case, two rails along the sides were semi-detached. I had to glue them. The latch that holds the lid shut did not latch completely. I had to bend it to work correctly. And even then the curved design of the latch makes it slide toward the open position when you pick up the case. It's not a very stout latch either. I simply don't trust this latch to hold.
So if you want a case that's cheap and sits there looking pretty, you certainly can't beat this for the money. If you want something to actually carry wine around, carry it from the bottom.
