This item is truly mind boggling. The balance on mine was perfect and the face my mother made when I let go of the bottle was priceless. I recommend this to anyone who likes to display wine bottles before consumption. It is a great conversation piece but seeing people's first time reactions to it are worth it.

Don't ask me HOW this wine holder works, because when it arrived without instructions I was baffled. I tried placing it in different ways but just could not figure out how to make it work, so I quickly went online, to this very page and once I saw how to set it up via this photo - I was HAPPILY SURPRISED! The chain material is very solid, which is evident by the weight (which was heavier than I expected, but that is a GOOD THING when you need to hold a wine bottle vertically!) and the final result is SO COOL!!

It is definately a conversation piece. I love gadgets, so I had to have this one. It looks very nice on my table. I'm thinking about purchasing another one. They make great gifts as well.

Great product, not cheap by any means.
Only reason i give it a 4/5 is because it "slightly" leans forward.
What i mean, is that the bottle in the chains must even out the weight, like the weight of the bottom 3/4 of the bottle, evens out the top part of the chain.
The chain will not, by any means stand up alone, even though I'm sure you would have to be a moron to think that.
Maybe the bottles im using is small, or does not weigh enough, but it always tends to lean a little forward onto another chain. (maybe i got one that is a little longer? Has another chain? or is missing one?)
Over all i would give this a 5/5 for someone who is just using it as decoration, and not as a real wine bottle holder for their favorite wine.

I have a wine holder very similar to this one and my friend commented on it everytime she came over,so I decided to get her one. I ordered this one and it's okay but cheap looking. The base looks too much like a horse shoe, which would be nice if that's what I was going for, I however wante a more elegant looking one and this product did not meet my expectations.
