I was a little concerned to purchase this item over the internet, as there can be a big difference in quality. With that said, I think for the price, you won't find anything better. The construction was solid, however the latch on the front which holds the top and bottom together was extremely flimsy and very pliable. Once a wine bottle goes in, you have to lift the box from the bottom, not the "decorative" handle, which if you're giving it as a gift, you'll have to quickly explain to the recipients.
