Can horses do math?, July 13, 2000
This review is from: True-or-False Book of Horses (Hardcover)
I think the true-or-false format works really well in this informational book. Lauber asks and answers common questions about horses in an interesting way. At the same time, other information is included. Your horse enthusiast may enjoy hearing this in bits and pieces or all at once.
The bright, detailed illustrations (which appear to be watercolor and pen) clearly show what the text tells. They are colorful and cheerful.
I hope they do more of these!

A great book for Kids who love Horses, February 23, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: True-or-False Book of Horses (Hardcover)
I thought that this book was great! It had a lot of information on things that I didn't know, even as a big horseback rider. It is a good book for kids because it didn't really use big words like some more adult horse books. It also had great pictures to help me understand what they were trying to say. It is a wonderful book, that I am probobly going to buy for myself. It even had a definition for words that my sister, 5 years old, would probobly not understand that helped her a lot.If you have any questions at all about horses, this is the book to look through.
