Excellent product! After carefully researching all the options for aftermarket air intakes (and there are plenty to choose from), the True Flow was any easy choice. This is the only intake of its kind that retains the original factory filter box to protect the filter from dirt, damage and engine compartment heat, while still adding all the benefits of high capacity...

A little disappointed
Bought this for my Escalade, hoping it would improve my mpg a little but nothing. It was very easy to install and looks great. I even upgraded to dual electric fans and that didn't get me much improvement on the mpg. Oh well. Maybe I will put a diesel engine one day--that would do the trick!

Excellent product! After carefully researching all the options for aftermarket air intakes (and there are plenty to choose from), the True Flow was any easy choice. This is the only intake of its kind that retains the original factory filter box to protect the filter from dirt, damage and engine compartment heat, while still adding all the benefits of high capacity efficient air flow. The sturdy two stage foam filter can be cleaned and reused, and is far superior to the OEM factory part. Installation on our 2002 Tahoe Z71 5.3L was effortless, thanks to the design engineers at True Flow who actually produce their product for specific applications. Instructions are clear and concise, everything is included, fits perfectly with no special tools required and installation took under an hour. All the component materials are very high quality, cosmetically it has a beautiful finish and this unit looks great under your hood. Promise of extra power is indeed accurate and, combined with a Flowmaster full dual cat back system, this SUV growls. To top it off the entire system comes with a lifetime warranty as well. Finally, the price on Amazon beats every source on the net including eBay. Don't hesitate any longer...buy one now!

The True Flow intake is very well made and fit perfectly. Installation only took about 20 minutes. It looks great once installed. It gives a little louder, throaty sound that comes out at higher RPM's. I have noticed more power at higher RPM's also. I have not seen any change in gas mileage. I would recommend this intake to anyone looking for a little better sound and power. Mine was installed on a 2004 GMC Sierra with the 5.3 liter V8.
