(not even the same genre) but it's still interesting to take a look back on the early days of pm5k. I also like the bass groove it has to it... not what I usually listen to but I really like playing bass so it is fun to learn some new genres. Keep an...

4.0 out of 5 stars Listeners, be warned!, June 16, 2002
This review is from: True Force (Audio CD)
True Force is an okay CD, with a bit of a hip-hop feel to it, except better because Spider One is the man behind it. I mut admit though, it wasn't at all what I expected of the people who brought us TONIGHT THE STARS REVOLT. The music here isn't so much of the hardcore furturistic metal that Powerman currently embodies, but more of a semblence to modern rap-metal. Nevertheless, rockets and robots are hinted at in songs like Organizized ("Maybe in space no one can hear you scream out"), giving you that exciting feel of hearing the first stage of evolution of what was to become who we now know as PM5K

This 7 track E.P. is one of the best I've heard, and it's great for a new band. the band changes throught their later efforts, but i think one should get to know the way a band starts out. Get the other discs too. Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, March 27, 2003
This review is from: True Force (Audio CD)
Before I get into this Cd I just want to say that all the trendy PM5K fans probrably wont like ths album becuse it doesnt sound like anything on Tonight the Stars revolt. This album is as raw and original as it gets. I personally love the 3 rap jams that spider kicks out. Its not hardcore rap (very similiar to the song "system" on TTSR). As far as the other songs organizized is awesome. "End" is definelty the best song. Every song on this album rocks. If you loved Mega Kung fu radio as much as do, this is an absolute must!

Holy buckets! This cd sooo rocks! PM5K crosses a lot of styles without losing the rock sound - if you like sugar and science fiction, this one's for you!
