A great pair of Outdoor Work Gloves,
By
This review is from: True Grip 88439446 Insulated Gloves, Large (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is an excellent pair of work gloves for the cold weather. I put them to the test this past weekend, working with Christmas trees in northern Michigan. My hands remained warm for the entire two days in the sub-freezing temperature. The gloves were flexible enough to handle the equipment very easily, such as the chain saw, bow saw, trimmer, and even tying the string. Best of all, the clothes were strong enough to resist the 'scratching' of the pine needles and bark. The leather and kevlar patches were strong to the wear, yet flexible to the touch. Whereas the glove is somewhat water resistant, it is not waterproof. It also breathes very well, so even an active operation will alllow the hand to not feel confined. An excellent outdoor cold weather work glove!!

These gloves are the best gloves ever. I bought a pair of Ironclad and a pair of true grip. True grip are much better at keeping your hands warm.

I bought these because I don't have a garage & have to work on my Jeep outside. Living in Pa means freezing cold temperature. These gloves are one of the best things I ever bought. Nice & warm plus I can pick up wrenches & even nuts & bolts. I got them very dirty (greasy) & just threw them in the wash, let them air dry & they were still in great shape.

Best Fit, Well Made,

I have trouble finding gloves that aren't too long in the fingers or too tight when I close my hand. The True-Grip Gloves fit perfectly! They are double stitched and as advertised have a lot of textured Kevlar pads that REALLY help pick up small items. I must have 10 pair of gloves in a drawer or in the car trunk I've bought that don't fit or are too cumbersome. I like the velcro wrist closure and helpful pull on loops. These will be worn.

I Live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold. I run a rough framing crew, so I put them to the real test. These gloves are a great idea, but take them back to the drawing board. The gloves fell apart after I used them for two weeks. I would not tell anyone who works in real conditions, to get a part.

A friend and I purchased these instead of the ironclad based on the reviews of both products from Amazon.com. We used these this weekend to build a work table in our workshop in his garage and reorganize the garage. Our hands were a little chilled in the morning while the temps were around 10 degrees. As the day warmed, however, these gloves kept our hands quite comfortable. It never got warmer than 25 degrees. These gloves have good finger dexterity. We were able to pick up nails and screws off the floor while wearing the gloves, but were unable to pick up washers with the gloves on. These gloves keep your hands warm while holding an ice cold wrench, and are also good for driving. The velcro wrist closure is nice, and the pull tab helps greatly when putting the gloves on. The only suggestion we would make is that the glove should cover higher up the wrist. You should be able to find these for $.., although at $.. they are still worth it.

I liked its grip, It did very well when trying to hold things.
Fabric workmanship was poor at best. The red puller thingie was not very helpful. Didn't keep my hands as warm as when I used other brand gloves.

Nice gloves, however the sewn on grip began becoming unsown after only a few weeks of daily heavy duty work, light duty would most likely suit them best.
