4.0 out of 5 stars I play this game start to finish at least 3 times a year, September 14, 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: True Lies (Video Game)
This is one of the funnest yet most overlooked games for Sega. Most people I talk to have never even heard of this game. I happened to rent it at Blockbuster Video in the mid 90's and became instantly hooked. I re-rented the game like 3 times before finally telling the store it had been "lost," (I used my birthday money to pay the store). Since then I play this game at least 3 times a year from start to finish. Here is why I love this game:

- Unique overhead perspective that blows away both 1st persons and side scrollers
- Impressive graphics, color, and animation
- Excellent control, very playable
- Very cool sound effects
- Awesome weapons (9mm pistol, 12 gauge shotgun, uzi, grenades, flame thrower, mines)
- Cool items (magazine clips, shotgun shells, 1st aid kits, free lifes)
- Satisfying amount of blood and gore
- Storyline that is true to the movie
- Level of difficulty that is challenging enough to be fun yet not impossible
- A great variety of levels instead of the same old boring scenery over and over
- Also a great variety of enemies and bosses
- Password saves after each level
- Background music that is only slightly annoying

The bottom line, you will love this game!
