The fact that Jan Folger (who has the gift of not taking herself too seriously) finds it amazing that she has met famous people and has helped to form public policy, does not take away from the gravity of her reflections on the reality of the tragedy of abortion for our society,especially for those closest to the human destruction. Although the story is told through individual stories and recollections, it helps us to understand the motivation of one of the most dedicated and effective advocates for the rights of unborn children. Anyone who wants to truly understand the abortion debate,and those actively involved in it,needs to read this book.

This well written book is as much an autobiography of a very brave and kind hearted person as it is a story of the circumstances surrounding the pro-life vs. pro-choice drama that is ongoing in America today. Through the experiences of this dedicated pro-life advocate we see an exemplary integrity that underscores a deep love for all humanity. The unborn, women and girls struggling with an unwanted pregnancy, and even pro-choice advocates are all treated with decency and respect in this book. If you want to know more about one of the greatest role models ever for the pro-life movement then look no further than this book. Janet and her millions of followers belie the negative stereotypes that the biased, left leaning media tries to hang on all pro-life people. To get the true flavor of the tactics and methodologies of one of the most powerful people in the pro-life movement you need look no further than this book. To discover all the choices for life for the unborn, that are sadly not emphasized in the pro-choice agenda, read this book. The abortion industry, a business dying from its own success, hopes you won't read this book, lest it loose even more customers. I enjoyed immensly reading this positive, thought provoking, and very uplifting book that is as its title promises, "True to Life."

Over the summer, I had the privilege of receiving a copy of Janet Folger's book, True to Life. Before reading it, I was quite skeptical because I was never interested in political issues, especially reading books about them. I honestly did not see the significance of my participation in politics. Then,one of my best friends challenged me to read the book, and I accepted her challenge. I read the book in less then three days and I enjoyed every paragraph. Janet did a wonderful job writing on such a difficult subject. When I finished, my heart was on fire and I knew that I had to do my part in saving the children of America. Not only does Janet entertain us through real life stories, but she also inspires us to get involved and to change the world. Because of Janet Folger's book, I can never go back to how I used to live. Taking a quote from Janet's book, I leave you with this. "What would you attempt to do if you knew that you could not fail?" Thank you, Janet.

This book has completely changed my thinking about pro-life, assisted suicide and euthansia. The true life stories and factual information allow Ms. Folger to present very persuasive arguments supporting her cause. I was appalled at the lies and misinformation that has been publicly held up as 'fact' and that I was stupid enough to believe it. Ms. Folger's courage and faith in the face of adversity can help you believe that with God nothing is impossible! If you want the truth about these topics, this book is a must read.

This account was life-changing; now I can see more of how one person can impact a wide audience. Judging from this book I would apprentice myself to the author, and see how much one more voice could make.

Janet Folger's book "True to Life" is by far the best book I have ever read on the political scene surrounding the Life Issues. The book is written extremely well: It is interesting, easy to read, thought provoking, informative, humorous in spots, and enlightening...all at the same time. True to Life not only challenges our involvement into the Life Issues arena, but our living of the Gospels as well. Unfortunately, I don't have time to read like I used to, but the time I spent reading this was well worth every minute. I highly recommend!

This book is a must read for anyone who believes in the right to life for the unborn, the elderly and the disabled. The book is enlightening, inspiring, and motivating. It covers all aspects including the original intentions of the writers of the Constitution, legislation, media bias, America's future. Janet Folger has an ability to share her personal experiences in such a way that it leaves you feeling energized and ready to act. Considering the seriousness of abortion and euthanasia, the author manages to lift you with occasional humor. I highly recommend this book.
