I was amazed to see the all-5-star reviews (four of them, at this date). I was very disappointed in this book. I have read many books on kabbalah, which I have found useful and inspiring and beneficial to my own practice. While not a "bad" book, I had the sense that this was a fast rehash of some of the author's own work and most of the mainstream - do well by doing good, be a leader by serving, tithe 10% because what goes around comes around, etc. A reader would not learn the first thing about real kabbalah from this book - the 10 aspects (or qualities, or virtues) of God (and therefore human nature)to which we can relate our personal lives, how to learn the mysteries even more through the Hebrew alphabet and how these and the 10 aspects (Keter, Binah, Hokhmah, Hesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Nezah, Hod, Yesod & Malkhut) are unified in being, for a start. Maybe the rave reviews are from readers who really don't know much about kabbalah - so why not read Tony Robbins or other writers in the "gospel of wealth" realm - kabbalah is truly unique and is not served very well in this book. I recommend an older book by Rabbi Shoni Leibowitz, "Miraculous Living," which is the best work I have ever read that really explains the qualities of kabbalah and how to apply them to everyday living - it changed my life. Berg's book does not even come close. "True Prosperity" could have easily been condensed into a magazine article. Berg certainly has the Jewish lineage and the credentials to write on this amazing spiritual and practical path, but I thought he fell quite short. I wished I had tried to find it in the library instead of paying full price. I am not a kabbalah "expert" by any definition, but I am quite well-informed from many sources over at least 10 years' time. A good quick self-help read; yes - any depth, no; kabbalah - missing. Did anyone else feel the same?

After reading Berg's prior works, I was a bit amused that he would write one on Prosperity, because it opens a doorway in which many people perceive anyone on a spiritual path as being poor or in poverty for the sake of a "higher authority". Not only does Berg dispel this myth, yet he provides source material that shows that we have all been suckers of the biggest scam ever -- LIMITING OURSELVES AND SETTLING FOR SECOND BEST! The book is described as a "revolution" disguised as a "book" and Yehuda does not fail to deliver. Read this book only if you REALLY do want everything in life that you have ever desired. The price is worth it!

I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I'm not a religious person so I didn't want to be plagued with a "sales pitch" on Kabbalah. This book did none of that. It simply revealed some very bona-fide, useful, and workable techniques in the most simple way possible in order to improve your life financially and otherwise. I love this book. I've read countless prosperity self-help books and I must say that this one is the best! It was easy to read. I have a hard time with finishing a book and I read this one in two days before bedtime. Awesome material. If you're a "self-help junkie" looking for those "secrets" to prosperity, you CANNOT go without this book for another moment! Super material. I'm going to read other books on Kabbalah now since Mr. Berg sparked my interest.

Having done a good deal of study into various religions and spiritual practices I was grateful to stumble upon this wonderful book. Unlike other readers who have been bashing the Berg books as "non-kabbalist", I see this book applying to anyone who wants to better their life and the lives around them. I have applied several of the ideas in this book to my life and found it to be very transformative. Jung and Einstein have spoken about manifestation and connecting to the "whole" and this is an informative book on how to apply these traits to your life.
I am grateful that Mr. Berg has taken the time to write a thoughtful book on how to live a more fulfilling life. To those who are so quick to say that he is only out to make a buck or is an "evangelist" i say at least he is trying to make this world better and not being judgemental or critical of others. Please, let's work for the better not against one another.

This is the book. It takes you on the journey to wealth in an easy to understand and practical format. You become or become more wealthy, as does your family, or those around you. And beyond getting rich, you become rich inside and create a dreamed of dream life. Don't take my word for it - read the book.

Sometimes reviewers take liberty to inflate their ego and trash the works of others. I've noticed that in some of the low reviews on this work.

I'd like to offer a review without being a member of the Kabbalah Center, nor a "hater" of it. I was checking out the Kabbalah Center and their store gave me this book for free. Impressed, I took it home and started reading it.

What I liked was the simplicity of the work. It reminds me a lot of the Dalai Lama's works for the General Audience. This work raises some good topics, such as what is prosperity. True Prosperity isn't Desire for One's Self Alone. The book continues to show the nature of reality is beyond our ordinary/mundane perceptions. that we only see the 1% realm. It goes into consciousness... and how to change things in our life through changing our attitudes, perceptions and actions.

The book also covers the 5 enemies of spiritual growth. It also offers a section for business owners - how to manage a company and it's employee's, spiritually.

It also covers the subject of taking ownership - and becoming a leader (even if one is not a 'boss' at their job, they can still be proactive and be a leader.)

Someone ignorantly commented that the book mainly tells people to give to the Kabbalah Center. It's not true. The book does cover the subject of Tithing. Giving 10% back to the Divine. How that's done, the author leaves up to the reader. It could be a church, a charity and so forth. By giving of the 10% of our income, we are taking the lowest realm, and dedicating it to the highe rrealms. the 1/10th realm becomes sacrificed through the 10% tithe. Sacrifice means to "make Holy" and that is exactly what occurs when one gives 10%.

I loved the book and found it insightful and very encouraging, especially when going through tough times. If you're going through some financial problems, family issues, or other aspecits that seem not very prosperous - I think this book will really help a lot.

This was sold by amazon.com and they never answered my request that the book was never received. There seems to be no way to get attention to failed deliveries from amazon.com to paying customers. Is there any way to get a refund?

Very interesting and informative. It gives information with the expectation that you will be willing to do something for prosperity. It is not another "Secret" book that would have you believe that all you have to do is think about an idea and you will achieve it.

I have read several books from Yehuda. I liked this one very much, I did read the reviews before I purchased it and yes, it tends to be a little repetitive. However, I find that very helpful when trying to understand and learn Kabbalah concepts. I think the more you go over them the more they stick to you. I always enjoy his story, and his personal input. I have read Kabbalah books by different authors and they read more like a testbook. I do recommend this book, and any other book by this author, because even if you do not study Kabbalah they discuss important aspect of life.

I read this book in 2 days and was really impressed with the clarity with which all the concepts were laid out and the ease of reading. I have read many books on prosperity building mostly from the metaphysical perspective, but this book is exceptional. I recommend it for not only those interested in Kabbalah but also those intrested in truly working on prosperity building from the spiritual perspective.
