Kate Ceberano is one of the best female vocalists I've ever heard. I've seen her in concert, and she really clicks with the audience - just an amazing musician.

She's got such wonderful energy, and it just feels GOOD to listen to her. "Pash" is on this album - it's one of those songs that brings back the best memories of growing up. I also really like "Love is Alive."

She is so happy, and her music makes one feel as though they can have an impact. I think Kate Ceberano carries, through her music, a strong message that people are powerful, and people are wonderful. She's very validating, and it's a real joy to hear her sing.

Her voice and music are very eclectic - Kate is not afraid to change who she is from moment to moment. She's a wonderful actress, and this is apparent in her music.

She's a great talent, and I think most everybody can find something in her music that they would like. I highly recommend this album!

One of Australia's best female vocalists, Kate Ceberano is not very well known elsewhere. That's a pity because she is has more talent than any one person deserves. Most of her work is Blues and R&B but there are a few Jazzy tracks on the CD. Some of her best work was done with Wendy Matthews but sadly that album, (You've Always Got the Blues), is no longer available. Buy this CD and impress your friends with some quality music that they probably won't have heard before.

Kate Ceberano is a classy, sensual and popular Australian jazz/pop vocalist who is highly-regarded here, and who has been a chart-topping pop star, a stage musical performer, a jazz vocalist and briefly a TV show host as well as an energetic, dynamic live performer in the 20 years from 1985 until now.

I hope more people outside Australia choose this 18-track Best Of set to acquaint themselves with her style. It dates from 1999, and Kate has recently returned to the scene with a new album 19 Days In New York ( a collection of American standards). Check this True Romantic out!!!
